Diamond polishing
A wet diamond system with Klindex pads cuts back scratched, dull or worn stone and brings the original lustre back, with no dust through your home.

Compound and maintenance polishing
A lighter touch for stone that has held up well and only needs its shine refreshed, rather than a full restoration.

Sealing to resist staining
Impregnating sealers sit below the surface and clog the pores so spills have far less chance to mark, typically lasting five to seven years indoors. Colour-enhancing sealers available.

Epoxy filling for holes, chips and cracks, plus grinding to take out lippage where tiles sit unevenly, and pitting.

Every job is different, so we do not quote a single price. It depends on the type of stone, the size of the area and what condition it is in. Call or send us your suburb and a few details, and we will either give you a ballpark on the phone or come out and assess it properly.
Almost always, yes. It is the single most common thing we get called out for. Dull, flat looking stone is usually just years of foot traffic wearing the polished surface down. Wet diamond polishing cuts back through that worn layer and brings the original shine back out of the stone itself, rather than putting a coating over the top of it.
That is etching, and it is very common on marble and limestone because they react to anything acidic. Wine, citrus, coffee and a lot of supermarket bathroom cleaners will all do it. Light etching can usually be polished out completely. Deeper etching needs micro-grinding first, and we will tell you which one you are looking at when we quote, not after we arrive.
The process and the sealer are matched to your stone before we start, which is why we ask what you have. Nothing acidic goes anywhere near acid-sensitive stone like marble or limestone. If a particular treatment is not right for your floor, we tell you that instead of doing it anyway.
We can do both in the one visit. Sealing is recommended for porous stone because it slows staining down considerably, and an impregnating sealer typically lasts five to seven years indoors. We are an approved AquaMix applicator, so sealers go on to the manufacturer's spec.
